I’m so thrilled to share these images from my friend Annie’s wedding. Annie and I met years ago at a wedding, where she was doing hair & makeup, and I was the photographer. We hit it off right away. Several years, weddings, and styled shoots later, it was Annie’s turn to get married and I was so honored when she asked me to photograph it. Annie and Tim knew they wanted a small, intimate wedding that paid tribute to Tim’s love for France and their shared interest in classical music, art, fine dining, and travel. Their wedding was romantic and highly curated, with rich textures and elegant moody berry tones. After a heartfelt ceremony performed by Annie’s father, the 22 guests were treated to a stylish reception. Lush, sprawling floral arrangements in heavy urns adorned the tables, where they sat down to a six-course dinner served with incredible attention to detail and service.
“We chose to have just 22 guests, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every moment was experienced collectively; every course at dinner eaten together; every story heard. I didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. I was next to my husband all night, holding his hand, surrounded by our nearest and dearest.“
More of this wedding can be seen on Magnolia Rouge and in the final printed issue of Magnolia Rouge Magazine.
