      What is it like working with you?

      Very relaxed, fun, and genuine. I love spending time getting to know my couples so I can capture their true personalities and emotions in their portraits. One of the best compliments I receive from my couples is how I can be such a calming presence on an otherwise hectic day.       How much experience do you have?

      I’ve had the privilege of working with over 100 amazing couples since I began photographing weddings in 2009. Prior to transitioning to wedding photography full time in 2014, I spent over ten years as a creative director in the advertising industry where I produced and directed commercial photo shoots for national ad campaigns. It is extremely important to request to see a full wedding gallery from all of the photographers you are considering. You want to make sure your photographer will be able to capture every aspect of your day, in all different types of lighting and environments.

      Has your work been published?

      Yes, my work has been featured by numerous national and international wedding publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake, Southern Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Grey Likes Weddings, The Knot, Carats & Cake, Magnolia Rouge, Bride & Groom, and more. I was also a winner in PDN’s Top Knots Contest and named Photographer of the Year at the St. Louis Wedding Awards.

      Do you have a second photographer?

      Very rarely. It may be a good fit if you have a large guest count or complex logistics, but I'm very experienced and comfortable photographing weddings on my own. I do, however, bring an assistant with me to every wedding to help carry gear, load film, and allow me to always be in the right place at the right time.

      Do you shoot film or digital?

      Both. While I absolutely love the look and feel of medium format film, there are definitely times that call for the speed and low-light capabilities of digital photography. All of my digital images are carefully edited to match the look of my film images.

      Do you have backup equipment?

      Yes, absolutely. Equipment failures can happen so I always make sure to have backup gear on hand to continue documenting your day. My film is stored cool and dry, and mailed to the lab via priority shipping in a well-secured box. Digital images are captured on dual memory cards and backed up to dual hard drives.

      When can we expect our images?

      Images are typically delivered within six weeks but I do my best to get them to you sooner if possible. Portrait sessions take around three weeks. Along with your images, you will receive a print release form which grants you rights to use and print the images as you wish for personal use.

      How many images will we receive?

      You can expect 70-80 images per hour of wedding day coverage. Most eight hour weddings yield 600-800 images. Things like guest count, wedding party, details, etc. factor in here. My goal is quality over quantity and I want every image to be a beautiful recount of your day.

      How do we book our date?

      Prior to booking, I'd love to meet with you to learn a bit more about you and your wedding plans. Please send an inquiry to set up a consultation. A signed contract and non-refundable $2000 deposit is required to book your date. The remaining payment is due 14 days prior to your wedding.

      Do you travel?

      Definitely. I am currently based in St. Louis, but am willing to travel anywhere in the world to capture your day. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph weddings from California to New York, the Caribbean, Europe and so many beautiful places in between. Please ask about a custom quote for your destination wedding or portrait session.

      How much will it cost to have you travel?

      It varies depending on location. To keep things simple, I will send you a quote that includes all travel costs to your destination. For most of my destination clients, I am able to put together a custom quote to fit their specific needs. Please don't let distance discourage you from reaching out.
