I had SO much fun shooting this wedding. We had amazing weather and a fun group of people. Not to mention all of the cool custom designs done by Ryan himself. Remember their engagement photos? This is where the whole idea for the silhouette shots came from. Congratulations Ryan and Sarah, I am so happy for you!!

Karen and David had an absolutely beautiful October day for their wedding in the Missouri Botanical Gardens. There is such an intimate feel to these small weddings where the bride and groom are surrounded by their friends and family that love them the most. Congratulations Karen and David!!

AMAZING photos once again Mike! I especially love the reflection photo- that one is beautiful!
St. Louis is a tough place to plan an outdoor wedding since the weather is so unpredictable. However, on this particular September day, the weather was perfect for my cousin Jeff’s wedding. Jeff is not only a golfer, but also works in the golf industry so it was only fitting that he would get married on a golf course. The Highlands Golf Course in Forrest Park was a beautiful venue for a beautiful wedding. Congratulations Amanda and Jeff!!

GORGEOUS! Why didn't I think of getting married on a golf course! I love all of these you are amazing!!!

So so beautiful!!!
gorgeous work, gorgeous wedding!
OMG how did you get the rings on the tee?? Love!
This shoot was SO. MUCH. FUN!!! Sunrise, coffee shop, heights, bubble gum, pool – this session has everything! I met up with Katy and John at 5:30 am, mimosas in hand to ease the blow of waking up so early. We soon realized we had a little advertising agency going on the corner. Katy is a writer, John is an account manager and I am an art director. Maybe that’s why there were so many good ideas being tossed around! I cannot wait for this wedding!

Very cool session! Love your ideas!
Love. love. love. Katy and John, you two are just so adorable and I know that Mike had such a great time with you! Congrats of your engagment and your upcoming move!
Wow! What a fun couple and such orgininal shots! A definite favorite.

What amazing photos!
THIS IS HOW IT ALL BEGAN…
I have been waiting so long for this day. This is the wedding that started everything for me. Stephanie knew Lauren from high school and read her blog from time to time, which led her to my blog. At the time, it had nothing more than pictures of my dog, flowers, Lauren and a couple of wedding photos that I took as a guest. She saw potential in those photos that even I was unaware of at the time and asked me if I would like to come out to San Francisco with Lauren to photograph her wedding. I was a little apprehensive at first. I didn’t know much, but I knew that shooting a wedding wasn’t just something you walked into. After giving it some serious thought, I responded with an enthusiastic “yes.” So, I’ve spent the last year or so preparing for this wedding and trying to improve my photography skills as much as possible. THIS WEDDING WAS AMAZING!! It also happened to be the weekend of our two year anniversary, which made it even more special! Stephanie and Scott, I can’t thank you enough for having faith in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. You inspired me to start this business that I love so much. You truly are an amazing couple and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
Well I don't even know where to start…these are F'ing INCREDIBLE. You guys did an AMAZING JOB, and in 45 degrees with a wind I can't believe you weren't wearing 100 layers.
The rings, the dress..THE PICTURES?!??! Gorgeous! These are just amazing–she was lucky to have you as a photographer!
And holy crap I'd be disappointed if I went to San Fran and it was only 45*!
Gorgeous pictures!! You did amazing! Happy Anniversary as well. =-)
Awesome job Mike! These pictures look so so so perfect. I didn't think it was possible to get even more excited for you to do our wedding!
